My weekend in review

This past weekend was a perfect blend of great time with friends and relaxing as well.

Friday:
Left work an hour early and enjoyed a few beverages with my friend Lee before we went to the Winterhawks game which was game one of this playoff round and HAWKS WON 4-1!!!!! It was a great game and we even got to see a penalty shot which I've never seen in person, that was cool. I also ran into 4 friends as random as well that night. What a great unexpected surprise to see two college friends :) After the game Lee and i went and had a few more drinks and then watched Teenage Muntan Ninja Turtles 2...oh yes yes we did. GO NINJA GO NINJA GO!!!!

Saturday:
I was up early on Saturday(who knows why). It was a news day Saturday was i was watching all the recaps of Friday's Boston events. How crazy was last week?? I am so relieved that he was caught and i couldn't imagine being in the city for that lock down and the scary things people saw. It was also an emotional, wonderful day in sports as the Boston teams all got back into action. I watched my beloved Red Sox win their game for their city on Saturday as well as watching their VERY emotional and AMAZING tribute to their city and officers in their pregame show. I love the line up for the National Anthem with the players and Boston's finest in the background. Truly hero's and they did such an amazing job over those 5 days.

The rest of my Saturday was a night little date night with the one and only Humphrey Bogart!!! I know this is crazy considering he passed away WAY WAY before i was born. But i am SERIOUSLY in love with old Bogie :) Casablanca is one of my favorite movies of all time and so i decided that was the one i was going to be watching. He's just so handsome and talented, i just wish he didn't pass at such a young age. I also spent Satuday with my cousin back in Newport News, VA. How do you ask? Technology is a wonderful thing :) I love snapchat now!

Sunday:
My lazy day :)  Everyone needs on of those here and there. Well, i can't really say it was super lazy. I did clean my room top to bottom as well as my bathroom...good spring cleaning. I also cleaned out my closet and dresser drawers....that was much needed. Sometime when you spring clean your house it really takes a weight off your shoulders and makes you feel better, or is that just me?! I also went to women's softball practice and that was fun per usual. I love my ladies...oh and the guys that coach us as well :)

Overall it was a great weekend with the perfect blend of activities. This up coming weekend will sure be one to remember as well...Camping at Fort Stevens for the seafood and wine festival(as well as my aunt's 50th birthday) and FLASHDANCE Sunday night with Lee!!!! GAH! Super excited for Flashdance...

#88 My First Blog!!!

Well here it goes..MY FIRST BLOG!

I have seen so many friends have amazing blogs and it has always been on my list of things to do, well, I'm finally doing it!!! This is going to be all about ME and my journey to live out my dreams and my adventures along the way.

A little about the few pages at the top, about me well...just a little more about yours truly.

The second one is titled *101 in 1001*! This was something that i discovered on my very good friends blog last week and i fell in love with the idea so i piggy backed it with her blessing of course(Thanks Jyndia). This is a list that i made of doing 101 things in 1,001 days. I have it broken down into 7 categories and it is going to cover EVERYTHING all over the board that i would like to accomplish in less than 3 years. What i like about it is, everyone has a bucket list that keeps growing, growing and growing. I feel that this allows you to have short term items checked off as life goes. Simplifying the list to me doesn't make it seem completely out of range and that things are never going to happen. Feel free to make your own list, i highly encourage it :)

Now, the 3rd page is called Dare To Gain Control. This is a link that goes directly to my side business that i have had the pleasure of getting involved in with friends of mine recently after actually using the product for 4 years. Go ahead and take a look and it if interests you in any way, just shoot me an email on comment below! I would love to help others have a better future, retire early or simply get hooked on amazing product!

Until the next post! Have a GREAT DAY!!!

Cheers,
Keri
